I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist working with couples, families, and individuals pursuing greater emotional contentment, personal fulfillment, and relationship success. Over fifteen years, I've learned that the hardest part of change is rarely the big leap — it's the next small, honest step.
A few years ago I trekked to Everest Base Camp. What stayed with me wasn't the summit view — it was learning to take one step at a time on a trail where the destination felt permanently out of reach. That's most of the work we do here too: not solving everything today, just the next honest sentence, the next repair attempt, the next step.
I bring a warm, non-judgmental approach shaped by that same patience — and I stay closely engaged with new research and clinical thinking, because good therapy keeps evolving.
"All happy families resemble one another, but each unhappy family is unhappy in its own way." Leo Tolstoy, Anna Karenina
The most important determinant of therapeutic success is the alliance between therapist and client.
I don't work from a single script. I draw on relational, attachment-based, and evidence-based models — and I stay closely engaged with current research, because the field keeps teaching us new things about how people actually change. Trained in family therapy, my lens is always systemic: you don't exist in a vacuum, and neither does the pattern you're stuck in.
